I haven’t updated in awhile. It’s been a really busy week this week for us. It’s actually pretty exciting for me. I’m usually a pretty “boring” person but it feels nice to actually have a life.
The diet is going alright. Last week I lost 1.6 pounds. Not too bad for someone who hasn’t stepped foot in a gym in over a month. This week I’ve been off and on with my eating so I think I’ll probably be up. I’m actually going to be starting something “new” tomorrow but I’m not going to get into that until I’m sure it’s going to work. Me and my fads. I own so many diet books it’s ridiculous. E was like “Why don’t you just stick with Weight Watchers and work out?” I’m just so bored with that right now. I need something new.
Saturday I worked overtime. Then I came home and cleaned up the apartment. And did laundry. Oh my exciting life. I just love how much fun I have. My bathroom must be the cleanest room in the apartment. I hate having a dirty bathroom. I have the coolest mop ever and have to use it.
Sunday we went and ran some errands. We had to make a Target run for some much needed things around the house. Plus I needed to hit Barnes and Noble for some new books. I have to have something to read although I haven’t had much time to read this week. E finally got himself an Xbox 360. It’s pretty need if I must say so myself.
Sunday night we went out to dinner with our friends D and H and had a great time. I always have fun when I hang out with H. She’s a lot of fun. We talked about going to the Roger Waters concert with them since we got lawn seats so hopefully they will end up going with us. That would be a lot of fun!!
Monday I got a new cell phone. I’ve been wanting the pink chocolate for awhile now and after seeing H had one I had to have one. It’s so freaking cute! I love it. I spent all Monday night playing with it and getting used to it. It’s awesome. It’s also sweet when your husbands friend works at the Verizon store.
Tuesday was my Father-In-Laws Birthday so we went over there for a bit to give him his gift and to hang out for awhile. Then we headed over to Barnes and Noble again so I could pick up the new diet book I had heard about. In all honesty in seems pretty doable. Then I acted like a total asshole and E and I got into a fight. I feel horrible about the whole thing and I don’t blame him for still being mad about it. Things were okay last night between the two of us but I know he’s still upset with me. I’m still upset with me, too. I’ve been totally mental about some things lately and I need to straighten my ass out. I know everyone has their problems but there is no need for me to act the way I did on Tuesday.
Then Wednesday night we went and got our hair cut at the coolest salon EVER! The salon is called “The Angry Chair” and I love it. And I love how my hair came out, too. I think I have new hairdresser. She just did a fabulous job. I almost felt like a traitor going to a new salon since I’ve had the same stylist for like 5+ years but this girl took her time with my hair and it came out pretty freaking fantastic if I do say so myself. I really like it (as if you couldn’t tell). E is growing his hair out but wanted a trim. He has the awesomest hair. I wish mine was that dark and thik. Instead my hair is thin and won’t take any dark color I try to add to it. I had dark dye put into last time I had it cut and it’s already back to being blonde again. Anyway, after that we went and checked out some Xbox stuff and then went grocery shopping. I was up until MIDNIGHT playing a new freaking video game about Piñatas’. Um hello?! WTF? And of course I can’t wait to get home to play the damn game again. Is this how I’m going to spend my vacation? Playing a video game about Piñatas;? But it’s the coolest game. I was trying to explain it to my coworker but I just couldn’t. Oh yeah and we watched “American Inventor”. Sometimes I think the judges on that show are morons! I don’t understand them at all. People come up with some great ideas and they give the money to someone else. A bicycle hook? Come on. What is that?!
Tonight E is holding a get together for Ron Paul. Don’t know who Ron Paul is? Well google him. He’s running for President. He’s FREAKING AWESOME! He needs to win the primary first though. Just check him out okay?! Yes, he’s running as a republican but he isn’t really a republican. If you are really into voting and all that stuff then you want to do your research and check him out. So E is holding a get together for people in Connecticut we are supporters of Ron Paul.
Then tomorrow I have to finish up as much as I can at work because I’m vacation next week! I’m so freaking excited. I need it. It’s been a long time coming. My boss has been off this whole week and it’s been hectic. The days have flown by but I haven’t been able to get as much done as I have wanted to, you know? I wanted to try and stay late all week but I haven’t because we’ve been so busy. Tomorrow I will though.
Saturday night is the Traveling Virus Show! Opie and Anthony! Woohoo! Love them! E is going to actually see the radio show live tomorrow since they are broadcasting LIVE from a radio station here. I’m so jealous but I can’t go since my boss is on vacation. I wish I could go but what can you do? At least I know he’ll have a good time. I told him he better tell them his wife is a huge fan and can’t be there if he gets to meet them. I already got to meet Jimmy Norton already though but I’d love to meet him again and Opie and Anthony, too of course. I don’t have my XM anymore though since we canceled it after they got suspended last month. They are back on though. I miss listening to them. I hope to get it back soon. They are still THE BEST!
Sunday we have 2 parties to go to. A graduation party and then my boss is having a 4th of July party. Another busy weekend. But then that is it. Nothing else planned. Maybe some day trips or something over vacation but I need to just rest for a few days. Catch up on some sleep. Just enjoy myself and I hope to get back to the gym at some point. I need it.
